Onboarding Emails

New cardholders are most likely to engage with card setup and benefits in the first 90 days. The Early Month on Book (EMOB) email suite had to meet them there, driving activation and digital adoption without pushing unsubscribes up.

A full system was designed in Figma: a component library of reusable layout modules, multi-version CTAs, pre-built templates, and a shared brand element library that kept type, color, and imagery consistent across every email in the journey. The library was used by other designers on the team, and I handed production-ready specs to the development team for HTML build-out, ensuring the system held up from design to deployment.

Every component was built and tested against technical constraints to ensure responsive design held up across the full card acquisition journey.

The result: reusable components that sped up execution, reduced errors, and cut average card activation time by five days.
