Video training material was needed and internal stakeholders were open to something different, which meant illustration was on the table. The catch: strict brand guidelines and multi-stakeholder approval meant every decision needed to hold up before finished art existed.

Storyboards solved that: pressure-testing ideas early, getting leadership buy-in, and looping in the video producer before the heavier work began. I extended an existing illustration style by creating custom pieces that felt playful and engaging while remaining fully aligned with the brand system.

The result: training material that was actually worth watching.
